In a typical yoga class there is not enough time to break
down and explore the postures. This
series will give you skills to take back to your physical yoga practice creating
movements that are more mindful and more functional. Each class will explore the concepts of
mobility, stability, and flexibility, as well as, active versus passive ranges
We will look at actual ranges of movement in the shoulders
and uncover compensatory movement behaviors.
Shoulder function is essential for arm balances, backbends, and
handstands. We will explore skills to
increase range of motion and gain strength.
class requires a minimum of 6 students. In the event this minimum is
not met one week prior to the class, anyone registered will be notified
